MISSION
RD Hoop Source Academy was created to help athletes of all ages achieve their true potential in life through basketball.
RD Hoop Source Academy provides basketball skills training, basketball leagues and camps all year round. We strive each day to teach our student-athletes life skills through the game of basketball. We drill discipline, dedication and teamwork into our program. Seize the opportunity to learn philosophies and fundamentals from a professional basketball player with experience honed playing basketball around the globe.

Mr. Matthews is has been Assistant Coach at Hamilton Christian Academy for more than 10 years. Over the years, He has charge of the strength & conditioning and player development over at Hamilton and also with professional level players.

Mr. Pappillion has assisted in training RD Hoop Source students and athletes since 2019.
Founder & Trainer
Ronald Dorsey is an American former basketball player who played professionally in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The 6'6" swingman played four seasons of college basketball, two seasons at Schoolcraft Community College and two season at McNeese State before venturing to Europe where he played in Finland, Lithuania, France and Poland. He is most notable for his time spent in Australia and New Zealand where he helped lead the Cairns Taipans to the 2011 Australian NBL Grand Final, and the Auckland Pirates to the 2012 New Zealand NBL championship.
